Wayne has more than 26 years of financial services experience, specializing in all phases of financial planning and investment management.
He joined BKD Wealth Advisors in October 1999 through the merger of Neill & Associates of which he was president. His experience also includes 13 years with an insurance firm in positions that included underwriting vice president, administrative vice president and marketing vice president.
Wayne's professional affiliations have included various officer positions in the local chapters of the Institute of Certified Financial Planners and the International Association for Financial Planning. He has served on the board of the new Financial Planning Association. Professional designations include chartered financial consultant (ChFC) since 1984 and certified financial planner (CFP®) since 1987.
Worth Magazine named Wayne to its lists of top planners in the U.S. in 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000 and 2001. He has been published in Forbes as well as being a regular contributor to the Kansas City Star.
He received a B.A. degree in business administration and social science from the University of Northern Colorado, Greeley, Colorado, in 1965 and an MBA degree in 1973 from Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa.
