Rick has more than 20 years of experience in the investment industry, including managing individual stock and bond portfolios for high net-worth families, endowments, foundations and retirement plans.

Rick is responsible for risk analysis and portfolio management, including custom-designed portfolios of individual securities, mutual funds and institutional portfolio managers. He is a member of the BKD Wealth Advisors’ Investment Committee, which establishes firmwide investment strategy. Before joining BKD Wealth Advisors, he was a member of a mutual fund analyst team responsible for recommendations to the fund for his assigned area for a large national bank.

Rick is a 1981 graduate of Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa, with a B.S. degree in business administration. He is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional.
