Jeff has more than 20 years of experience in portfolio and investment management. As chair of the BKD Wealth Advisors Investment Committee, he develops, implements and oversees the investment management process, including investment selection for high-net-worth families and corporations. He also serves as the senior portfolio manager for BKD Wealth Advisors (BKDWA) in Springfield.
Before joining BKDWA in 2000, Jeff was a senior portfolio manager in the private bank group of a nationwide banking organization.
He is a Chartered Financial Analyst® charterholder. The CFA® charter is obtained through the successful completion of a three-year program with studies in equity analysis, fixed income analysis, portfolio management, accounting, economics, derivatives and ethics.
Jeff is regularly contacted by national media for interviews and commentary on the market and economic events. He has been quoted in publications such as Forbes, The Wall Street Journal and BusinessWeek. His television and radio interviews include Bloomberg Radio, Fox Business and CNBC’s “Squawk on the Street” and “Closing Bell” programs.
He is a member of the CFA Society of St. Louis, CFA Institute and Greene County Estate Planning Council.
Jeff is a member of the board of directors of the Missouri Court Appointed Special Advocate Association.
He is a 1987 graduate of Missouri State University, Springfield, with a B.S. degree in finance, and a 1995 graduate with an M.B.A. degree in finance.
